  Jeanne Hartman's Workshops
  
  
  
  
  
  Ms Jeanne Hartman, a renowned Hollywood acting coach who is known as “The Actor’s Detective”, will be in Hong Kong from May 16th to 30th, 2012, to teach two 2-day workshops for actors; a 4-night workshop for scriptwriters, and private coaching sessions for actors and corporate executives.  
  And for the first time, Ms. Hartman will be bringing her 2-Day Acting Intensive Workshop to Manila, Philippines on June 2nd and 3rd.
  
  
  This will be Ms Hartman’s 8th visit to Hong Kong, and her teaching is clearly effective – six participants in her previous acting workshops in Hong Kong were recently cast in a major Hollywood production, The Man With The Iron Fists. This action martial-arts film, starring Russell Crowe, Pam Grier and Lucy Liu, was filmed in China and is due for release in late 2013.
  
  
  Hong Kong-based British-Chinese actor Mr Jason Tobin, a keen student of Ms Hartman who organises her visits to Hong Kong, reported that many of her students return again and again to take her classes. “Jeanne always brings new scripts and exercises for us to work on, and we always learn something new. She has a saying: ‘Good enough is never good enough’, and she encourages everyone to ‘prepare, practise, perfect’ their craft. What I also love about Jeanne’s workshops is that everyone participates – there are no shy observers.”
