    Who the fuck does she think she is? Strutting down some red carpet to another vacuous society bullshit back-patting event, this woman made it clear that she believes that the earthquake in Sichuan is some kind of karmic retribition, it was deserved, serves them right, it's all their own fault... Apparently tens of thousands of people died horrifically and millions have been devastated because the Chinese government "aren't very nice" to her "good friend" the Dalai Lama...

    This thing has fuck all to do with politics and it makes me sick that people are using it to their own selfish ends... I honestly don't care what some pseudo-spiritual pop-political intellectually challenged celebrity thinks about anything - but sadly a lot of people do listen... I truly despair...

    Respect to all those making a real, positive difference in this world in whatever way, however small. And fuck off to all those that think their opinions are valid just because they're famous.

    OK, rant over -  I just couldn't let this pass without comment.

    shes a bloinde ... she dunt think what she says , dunt anger yourself for one person , rather concentrate on how to help those in thousands who sufferd the quake

    my wife pointed this out to me last week, and originally I thought Sharon Stone had been misinterpreted or misquoted (as often happens to celebrities) ... but in fact, she did appear to say something completely vacuous & utterly dumbfounding.

    well some people have pointed out -- karma does exist - she got fired for saying stupid things about people suffering from a natural disaster. :-P
