Well, they sure mean a lot to me!

These are the names of some very inspirational characters who were part of an amazing feel-good movie that came out back in 1984.

The name of that movie was BREAKDANCE... it was later re-named BREAKIN'.

I'd like to dedicate this blog entry to my girl, Charlene aka Fiercefirensis... she just celebrated her birthday on 5 Feb... this is dedicated to her, 'cos inspiration is something that an artist should never get enough of... so Char, whatever it is you're working on right now... JIA YOU!!!

You can bet that after watching this movie, all I wanted to do was dance! :-)

My sis and I used to watch it over and over again, copying the dance moves. I could relate to Special K aka Kelly, as I had been classically trained in ballet as a little girl, but for the first time I was experiencing a sight and sound extravaganza of sorts... like what on earth is this stuff?!?? BREAKIN'? Oh man, it's really HOT!! My senses were being assaulted, and I was dancing my heart out, like there was no tomorrow.
