Do It, Duit #1 on Hitz.Fm MET 10 Charts

Kartello Hello Ladies And Gentlemen,

It's your boy Joe Flizz..whattup peeps! I'm currently back in JB for a couple of days and was surprised and overjoyed to find out that 'Do It, Duit' is currently sitting up on top, at the #1 spot on the Hitz.Fm Met Top Ten. A big shout out to everyone that requested or voted for this song, thank you HITZ.Fm for the continued support, and not forgetting Don M for the sick production. Watch out for the latest single 'Isabella' coming to the airwaves soon. If not get the 'President' out in all good record stores....Till I blog again... This is Johnny Hollywood signing out!

Joe Flizzow checks out President in stores!

The attendees at Speedy Video's outlet - Music Shop (new wing of One Utama) were suprised to find Joe Flizzow in their stores recently!

We're please to tell you guys that President can be found in all music stores in One Utama - new and old wing. We only managed to check out OU for now, but its a indication that you can get his album in all major outlets.

President can be purchased at Rock Corner, Speedy videos and other major music store outlets in Malaysia.

You can also get them at www.osixnine.com or at their store in Subang. Stock there is limited however they can take orders for you.

Thank you Joe Flizzow and Too Phat fans who have visited this site and given us your comments and insights. Your support has been amazing!

Gua.com.my 2.0 Launch

Joe Flizzow was invited to help launch Gua.com.my's re-vamped website last week on the 9th of Jan 2009. He performed a special version of "Bergerak" (from his album President), with lyrics specifically written for Gua. It was an exclusive which only the media got to listen to but it was much celebrated by the people at Gua. Read this review written by M Zul here. Pictures included in blog.

Joe Flizzow aka The President, born in Kuala Lumpur on 16 October 1979, Malaysia's International Hip Hop Ambassador, one half of the internationally renowned Malaysian hip hop duo, Too Phat - the first Malaysian Hip Hop act to impact upon the Malaysian music scene, founder and CEO of Kartel Records.

As Too Phat, their multi-platinum albums have won numerous awards locally as well as achieving recognitions from MTV Asia and Channel V. Asian collaborations with pop acts from Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, Sweden, Canada and United States have allowed for an all access pass in Asia. Regional appearances and performances are reflective in their album sales with over half a million records sold to date. As Malaysia's ambassador of Hip Hop few are not aware of Joe Flizzow's contribution especially with credentials that list international artists like Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas and Kanye West as the few he's performed for.

As an individual Joe Flizzow arguably the nicest Malaysian MC to ever grip a mic, is a talented writer, lyricist and producer. Forever pushing his boundaries and artistry into new areas and development; a pattern familiar since the late 90's, where he revolutionised the Malaysian underground Hip Hip scene and forced the music industry to recognise it as a serious music genre. Hip Hop had arrived in Malaysia.

Strong in beliefs and culture, Joe Flizzow proudly wears 'KL' on his head - introducing yet another nation pride - The KL cap, originally a Too Phat merchandise that was launched in 2005 and now produced and distributed wholly under his own clothing label State Of Mine Caps, Kartel Clothing.

After 10 years as member of Too Phat, Flizzow is now carving a career as a solo artist with his first album, President (2008)
