Well, it was another bangin' ass party at the Click last friday. Got my boogie woogie on.. heard some dope jams .. all and all.. it was the best option for weekend parties. Hatchmatik rocked it.. that dude really gets into his beats.. I hate when dj's just kinda.. mope around on the tables.. as if they rather be somewhere else.
Dj Kenny opened up the night with some nice soul grooves. Love that shit.. where would we be without soul? Still listening to Viennese waltz's no doubt ..
DJ miss yellow really suprised me. She was definitely a 很厉害 track selector.
Invited some of my friends from the Du (thats ChengDu Sichuan for those who don't know).. They ended up bouncing out much to early (no I won't forgive you guys )...

Well, here I am; All in one piece, all vital systems functioning; and fully conscious. (Its a rare state for me, indeed).
I would just like to say, that the Battle of the Year CD is officially done (http://www.updj.net/unity_recordings/English/BOTY_CD/index.html) !
Woo! Thanks to all who helped me along the way. And apparently, it looks and sounds great. DSK was just in Shanghai for the event promoting it. Still waiting for my copies of the CD's as China has prevented the shipping of CDs in postal service (why?!?)
The track I wrote for the CD is pretty funky. Im using a claviscord synth for the main melody, and just backing it up with a basic funk bassline and some rhodes keys. Simple simple, but it makes them shake there assess.. so thats all that matters.
