Ka Lam remembers having a passion for makeup from an early age. While mom was playing mahjong, she would be doing hair & makeup for friends. An early encounter with mentor Pat McGrath in New York Fashion Week in 2005, determined her to express her artistic talents through applying makeup on different faces. After studying at LCF in 2004, she returned to HK & started working as a professional makeup artist.

So, what is the best part of working for Channel V? remember not V Channel. i heard the other day some gals were screaming at ALVEY and said he is from V CHANNEL !!! hahaha i can't help to burst out laughing!!!

ok, back to the question! Fun would be to dress up Alvey, Dom and Lisa into funny sexy costumes!!!! they are all willing to act silly and crazy in front of the camera but in an extremely PROFESIONAL way! i cant wait to see the REMOTE CONTROL HALLOWEEN episode

TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have seen the edited version, i guarantee you IT's GONNA BE SOOOOO DAMN GOOD

a day to see the big buddha?
or to go onto the junk boat with a bunch of unknown people?

i chose to stay home, watching the tv with the broken remote control
trying to reserve a table for mother's day....

Ka Lam remembers having a passion for makeup from an early age. While her mom was playing mahjong, she would be doing hair and makeup for her friends. An early encounter with inspirational mentor Pat McGrath in New York Fashion Week in 2005, determined her to express her artistic talents through applying makeup on different faces as her canvas. After studying a wide range of makeup and hair styling courses at the London College of Fashion she has returned to Hong Kong and has worked as a professional makeup artist since 2005. In addition to providing makeup service herself, Ka Lam also has a small team of highly talented makeup artists who can work together with her for your fashion show, event or wedding day.

Over the years, Ka Lam has worked with many international and local celebrities both through her collaboration with a leading music channel in Asia as well as major events and concerts. Her work has appeared in high fashion magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and she has worked for world renowned fashion brands such as Chanel, Dior, Gucci, La Perla, Fendi, Loewe and Vivienne Westwood.

Recommended by Hong Kong’s foremost wedding planners and photographers, Ka Lam also provides wedding makeup for brides to be.

Based in a studio in Causeway Bay, Ka Lam caters to clients in Hong Kong and across Asia, Europe and US.
