Ok..so i'm not much of a blogger and my last entry was a couple of years ago....so i've decided to take this time to update everyone what i've been doing since my show in Macao. Last year I had a wonderful opportunity to performed at the Four Seasons and Sands Casino for almost 5 long months, 6 days a week which was pretty intensive but such great endurance training. I had a great time in Macao and met a lot of good people. Such a wonderful experience indeed! After the show in Macao, I returned to Taiwan and started my next contract. Currently I'm singing 3 days a week at the Grand Hyatt Taipei ....all unplugged with just an acoustic guitar. I absolutely love this gig cause it feels so intimate. So, if anyone is in the area, come on by! :)

Well, it's been almost one year since I started my adventure in Taiwan. I have to say, it's been a great experience! The moment I got to Taipet, I pretty much got involved with a lot of live performances mostly singing at special events. It's such a great honor to be working with different top musicians from all over the world. Now I know the only way to become a great singer is to sing live as much as you can. I've become a much better singing and can totally feel myself improving big time. It's a lot of hard work but it definitely paid off. I have to say most of my dreams are coming true. I've been very fortunate and blessed to be given such great opportunities not to say there weren't any obstacles along the way but I overcame each one. Another jewel in the treasure box.
My next stop is to Macau performing at the Four Seasons so for those who are in the area, come on by! I'll be there the whole month of October. I'm really excited about this trip and cant wait to see all my friends and family from HK! I miss you all so much..see u soon!

Hi Everyone! My name is Kara. I'm half Cantonese and half American. I pretty much grew up in Hong Kong most of my life but I also lived in LA for quite some time. I'm currently living in Taiwan cause my work is mostly here. I'm a singer but recently i've started doing some work for TV shows. I love my work and I hope you will see more of me soon. :) Some of the things I enjoy doing is traveling. I have been to quite a few places but I still have many more countries I would love to visit. I also love spending time with family and friends, they give me the balance that I need. I have two chihuahuas and I love taking them out everywhere I go. They love going to parks. I'm also a Buddhist so during my free time i'm usually reading books on Buddhism. I love sharing this wonderful Buddhist philosophy to others cause I truly believe by chanting "nam-myoho-renge-kyo" it will lead one to absolute happiness and world peace. :)
