I was so hoping to go down to NYC to see you! I have some family in the area so I do go there quite often. Alas, I promised my oldest daughter that I would throw her a big birthday party here that night.... Ah well. Maybe for your next project we can meet up for a face to face interview. Let me know if you ever head back to NY or Toronto!

Nominated for Best Original Music for Fruit Chan’s Longest Summer. Won Oustanding Screenplay award for Rice Rhapsody in 1999 in Taiwan and most recently won Best New Director at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 2006.
