Weekend!

Yiipppeeee! It's the weekend again!

Though my days are always erratic and theoretically, weekends are not that significant for me, I still feel a huge tinge of excitement whenever it is the weekend! Probably it's because my family and friends are usually free on weekends to spend time with me.

It's been a long long time since I last updated. Many things had happened since, or maybe not. I don't know. I think I have lost the ability to keep track of things, people and events, regardless of the quantity. I might also have lost the inner timeline in me. Time just evades by, refusing to make any impression in my humble brain.

One desire has been in my mind constantly though: I wanna travel around the world! Haha If only that can come true. The wake-up call is... I'm super broke! How? How? Need to think of ways to earn more during this depressing period of financial downturn. It is at this moments like this that I wished I am a doctor or teacher instead!!

Never mind...

Quick update!

Been busy like hell recently, filming for this very exciting project and then rushing off to host for 5 hours straight everyday! Later on, I got to pull off a 9 hours long Chinese New Year road show which will end at 2am, before driving straight back to Malaysia to spend Chinese New Year with my family!! Will try to update when I'm back in Malaysia. ^_^

Meanwhile, a quick lesson on "Modeling 101" by eskybaby!! These are taken during Christmas and he is SUCH a good model. LOL

On A Sleepless Night Like This

Having insomnia. Something I haven't had in a really long time but tonight is definitely one of those nights.

Just barely one month into the new year and I had already been through such a range of emotions. Sort of gained some new insights into Life, but are they really? Well, time will tell.

Resolutions. I never had any. Not the year before. Not last year and not this year. But if I had to have one, then let it be: to earn more and save more this year. I had to feel secure somehow right? Or perhaps, to have two holidays IF I'm lucky. One long and one short. :-)

Storming into the limelight as the delightful Kim Loong in @Moulmein High, this fresh-faced, boyish actor has been cooking up a stir for his acting skills. Effectively bilingual in both English & Mandarin, he had starred in numerous English and Mandarin productions like Channel 5’s Living With Lydia 2, True Files, Life Story, a 100-episodes Channel 8 Chinese drama (同心圆), a Mandarin children sitcom (大儿子，小老爸), as well as two new Channel 8 drama serials call 天堂鸟 and 新加坡屋顶下. No stranger to acting, Lawrence has been in the scene since his stage debut at 15.

Lawrence’s acting extends beyond television as well. He acted in various plays namely, This is Not an Apple by Action Theatre (December 2001), Off the Page by The Necessary Stage (March 2002), Code 302 by The Fun Stage (May 2002), Epitaph of The Whales by Toy Factory Ensemble (November 2002) and Existence by The Fun Stage (July & August 2003) etc. His involvement in This is Not an Apple led him to a nomination in 2002 DBS Life! Theatre Awards.

Touted as Female Magazine 50 Most Gorgeous People in 2004, Lawrence’s young and good looks has also attracted a lot of advertisers. He has appeared in numerous commercials, both print and television. Some notable advertisements include L’oreal, Milo, Starhub, MTV Asia, Marybrown and KFC. Lawrence is well known in the modeling industry for his versatility in his looks: he can be styled to look like different age groups, different professions and different characters very easily. He was also involved in hosting various brand launches such as Clarins Men Skincare, Virgin Mobile and more.

With a strong mind to better his performing career, Lawrence underwent singing and dancing lessons. Since then, Lawrence has taken part in various dance competitions and won top prizes for his lucid and delightful movements. Lawrence also spends most of his free time composing songs and writing lyrics.
