  • Chinese New Year

I had a good Lunar New Year, spending time with my family back in Malaysia. What about you?

I taught my sister how to do her homework, had a great reunion steamboat dinner, excitedly opened up all the New Year hampers (just like when I was young!), tided up the house and re-arranged the furniture a bit, making fun and disturbing my sister, playing with fireworks and of course, gambling. haha

I think one of the few things that a lot of Singaporeans won't get to do over Chinese New Year is playing with fireworks. My dad bought these for my sister...

... but I ended up playing with them instead. My sister was too scared and she only played with the "mild stuff". haha Erm... pardon my sloppy dressing.

This is the "mild stuff" she was playing with.

    My mum took the pictures...

I didn't even know she took this!

I planted this firework into the ground, which I later found out that you are suppose to hold it in your hands instead. Watch the video!!!

Guess what? My dad plays with fireworks too!

haha... I thought this video is funny because of the conversation my mum and my sis had. =)

Lol, funny...  No worries about the clothes, you're allowed to dress comfy too :D  I went to a wedding that was held at a chinese art museum in Pasadena california, with the ceremony in the middle courtyard.  For the part where the married couple left, the guests form a tunnel of sparklers!  Very beautiful, though a little scary to behonest! :D
