I'm in the middle of shooting a new bilingual TV series called "Cafe Zhou"! The story is about 5 friends who all have their own struggles but who have a dream of opening a coffee shop together!!!
The five characters are Julie, Tony, Selena, Kevin and Ice Cream!

In one of the first episodes Kevin has to cast people to act in his commercial that has the theme "Journey to the West". All the friends help out of course and dress up as the Monkey King, Tang Seng, the River ogre, the Spider Queen and Zhubajie!
I got to be the monk, Tang Seng!

It was so much fun shooting the "Journey to the West" episode"!

The next day my character had to dress up as Snow WHITE!!!

Some of the other looks:

I have about 15 outfits for the "normal" scenes and the challenge is that we're shooting the episodes randomly. Meaning that, for example, in one day, we shoot a bit of episode 8, then we jump to the beginning of episode 3, then we shoot the middle of episode 10. The challenge is to keep the continuity! So we have to make sure we wear the right clothes and accessories for a specific scene, have the right make up and hairstyle etc. I can assure you, after a few days of shooting, things get really confusing!

One of the shooting locations is an old house that my character Selena and her cousin Tony rent from Ice Cream.
Julie, a fashion designer moves in and the picture you see below is actually one of the last episodes of the season.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Li-Tong holds a BA in the fields of Musical Theatre, Voice, Acting and Dance at the Conservatory of Rotterdam.

Making her debut as one of the original cast in the 1st UK-tour of the musical “THE KING & I”, she has also appeared as an international lead vocalist in the "Musical Moments" concerts, performing in Hong Kong and Beijing. She played the role of GIGI and understudied the roles of KIM and ELLEN in the Dutch production of "MISS SAIGON".

Apart from singing, Li-Tong has acted in several feature films such as "Kung Fu Killer" starring David Carradine and "Distance Runners". She has hosted various TV programs like "ADVENTURE GIRLS" 《丽险记》 which was shot all over Asia, "Shanghai A to Z" 《上海攻略》, "Expo 360" and "Inside Shanghai"

Li-Tong has globally released her first Mandarin MV entitled “Persistence” ,《再执着一点》 and she is currently playing the leading role of KIM in "MISS SAIGON" in Sweden.
