    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY AnD FRIENDS!!!

    May this year be a fabulous one for you all!!!

    I have taken so many pictures since the last time I blogged so I'll just stick to sharing the most recent ones.

    I went back to Holland right before X-mas. I hadn't been back in over a year!!!
    It was good to see my family!
    It just started snowing when I arrived which was a beautiful sight, but also very cold!


    During my stay the annual "Dickens Festijn' took place.
    It's a two-day event and actors make the stories from Charles Dickens come to live.


    I borrowed a few pictures from a website.


    After I came back to Shanghai I flew to Xiamen for a performance the next day.
    I stayed an extra day in Xiamen to visit Gulangyu Island.


    On the ferry to the island.


    Near the ferry it's pretty touristy with all the fast food restaurants...


    but when you walk further you can find some more original places to explore.


    After the cold in Holland and Shanghai, the higher tempature and the beach was a welcome change!

    The picture is blurry, but it's me about to have dinner on the beach. The view was fantastic!


    When I got back to Shanghai I had two friends who came to visit from the UK.
    It was the perfect opportunity to visit Zhujiajiao which is an ancient water town near Shanghai.


    A local delicacy:


    Burning incense at Chenghuang temple in YuYuan garden.


    Two days ago I was in Hangzhou for a gig. The venue was right opposite the famous west lake.

    I'd love to see the west lake and the historical side of China, such an amazing history. All the ebst for 2011 :)
