─成立原因
Mindneon，中文名稱思想霓虹，成立於2009年7月15日。香港市民自少活於霓虹光下，好不美麗，香港人五光十色的生活亦有如霓虹光般璀璨，所以思想霓虹一詞是代表心在香港的意思。以思想霓虹作為網頁的中文名稱，因為我們的網頁具有霓虹光的特性─璀璨奪目，希望人們看罷我們的網頁，能夠得到一剎璀璨奪目的感覺，給予讀者們一次不平凡的回憶，推至日常生活都能變得璀璨耀眼，發光發亮。
─目的
我們亦希望藉著這網頁，展示予香港年青人知道香港其獨特的潮流文化，令到更多的年青人留意和尊重香港的本地文化，對自我文化產生敬仰之情。網頁的目的除了帶予香港年青人一些潮流、藝術、生活品味的資訊外，還希望能做到對外推廣香港的功效，推廣香港潮流文化的網頁數目太少，希望我們的加入，能夠令身在外國的網民對香港潮流文化有更深入認識，從而推介更多的人留意和尊重我們香港的潮流文化，為香港帶來更多迴響。
'MINDNEON', with its inception on July 15, 2009, has its Chinese name as ‘思想霓虹’. Hong Kong people are brought up in an environment surrounded with enchanted neon lights of different sorts. The life they are leading resembles the flourishing sparkles that the neon lights are giving out. The name ‘思想霓虹’ is meant to reiterate that our heart always maintains a strong tie with Hong Kong and it is with this particular meaning that we have chosen to name our webpage ‘思想霓虹’ in Chinese .
Our webpage bears the characteristics of those of the neon lights, giving out sparkles that are eye-catching. We aim to leave to our valued readers with refreshing feelings and extraordinary memories after visiting our webpage, through which we hope to help light up everyone’s life.
Through our webpage, we wish to draw the attention of the young people in Hong Kong to its unique ‘trends’ civilization and learn to respect it with admiration.
We not only aim at bringing the latest updates on fashion, arts and lifestyle to the young people in Hong Kong but also hope to promote the same to those living overseas. Since the number of such kind of webpage now in existence locally is still very limited, we wish our participation would help those living in every corner of the world get to know more about this unique civilization of ours, respect it and bring about more echoes.
