    Kat Von D, 25, was one of the featured artists on the first two seasons of Miami Ink.  She specializes in fine-line, black & gray style life-like portraits.

    Many celebrities, athletes and entertainers seek out her services such as Jackass' Bam Margera, Steve-O and Ryan Dunn, Slayer, My Chemical Romance, Guns N Roses, Green Day, The Mars Volta, Eve and Mira Sorvino.

    Now, Kat has come home to Los Angeles to fulfill her dream of opening  up her own tattoo shop.  The news has spread and celebrities,  rising starlets, punk rockers, musicians and tattoo collectors alike are lining up for some of Kat's famous black and grey ink.   In a city known for its tattoo culture, LA Ink is sure to stand out -- drawing clients from all over the world and from all walks of life.  But with popularity comes headaches, drama and a lot of hard work    .

    I have no tattoo on me, just because of my occupation. But I think I'll get a/alot of tattoos in the future.

    hi  agree whith u . Miami ink Is cOOL & Kat's work is really really real. i like the portrait the did.  the black and white stuff very impressive. i think there is a tattoo artist in Singapore who specialize in portrair especially in chinese girl's face... u have to see his work. i think u will like it . tattoo is the body label .i'm right? his studio name: skinlabel tattoo studio..

    纹身~我记得爸爸看我在手上画的花都吓了一跳,更别说如果有天我纹身了..不过我觉得用这种形式表达爱情比较刻骨铭心..想象~~哪天爱我的人在左边胸口纹我的名字或者星座...我一定可以为他去死~~
    说的有点疯狂..(呵呵,要是纹上我的名字就不怕他养小老婆了HOHO!!)

    Hi, thanks for posting this cos I didn't know there's LA Ink. The first time I saw Kat's work on Miami Ink, I thought to myself, "How did she do that?" Her work is really awesome. I had always wanted a tattoo but had the fear of going through the process. After watching 10 episodes on Miami Ink, I made up my mind, put aside the fear and got my first  tattoo =) from a place that ends with the word "Ink", not Miami but Borneo Ink.

    Thanks for adding more episodes.These girls and guy are stunning artists, I'm really enjoying them. My artist is booked up until December, seems a very popular thing at the moment.

    I'm little bit sad that every new serie and stuff come to Finland so slowly... I don't know what people are talking here.
    I have a tattoo on the left side of my back and I'm planning to have at least two more some day... So I love tattoos :D

    Kat's new tattoo shop is really cool & she slimmed down alot ... :-)
    Well...Maybe u can get a tattoo from her 1 day... It's around USD$500 & above....
    For Portrait ....USD$1000 & above....
    She's young & super talented....

    Tattooists are freaking rich!

    I want another tattoo...... ..... .... :-)

    i missed watching Miami Ink after my mum came out from the hospital, we don't have cable tv at home, so i'm looking forward to moving to my aunt's house when our house is being renovated, probably this month...
    have always admired that girl's work of art...amazing talent she has there...
