Born in Canada to Chinese parents, I moved here in 1994 and worked as an architect for 4 years before pursuing my greater interest in photography and art. Having published my second book themed and titled \'The Asian Male\', I\'m set to continue and explore all things that make this Universe as diverse and interesting as it is.

    THE NUDE BY NORM YIP
    A 4-hour photography workshop on photographing the human nude, under the guidance of Norm Yip. learn about lighting, texture, form, line, abstraction, and more.

    3 WORKSHOP DATES
    Saturdays, May 16, 23, 29; 2 - 6pm.

    HK$800/date

    Payment deadline is 3 days before the workshop date.

    WHAT IS COVERED
    Workshop-based, this is a freestyle way of shooting a nude model. Students are encouraged to experiment giving directions on how they want the model to pose. Through the session, Norm will be offering one to one guidance to you, the photographer.

    LANGUAGE
    English and Cantonese.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
    Yourself and your camera. Students attending this class ideally should have a general working knowledge of how their camera operates. The camera should allow for manual function and be a digital SLR. (Don't worry if you have only used Program or Auto mode).

    Limited to 10 persons maximum.

    thanks..it's something i have done off and on few years. it was very difficult finding models before, but now, people are eager to pose nude. (you know, nudity/sex is like taboo in many asian countries).
