• Madonna, birthdays, and best wishes

  Recently I was back in Vancouver visiting my family and ole friends and of course since Madge was in town doing her world tour, I really had to go!  It was the first time she's been in Vancouver....after all these years and if we were in the same city at the same time, it was fate that we should at least meet.....not meet face to face, but she way way up there on the stage and me way way down there in my seat.  But mind you, I was up and dancing away from the moment the music intro started that evening.  It was incredible...she really knows how to put on a show.  After waiting for what...20 years...I've finally got to see her live.

  Besides getting to see Madonna live, I was also lucky enough to get 2 days of sunshine...something very rare in the Fall season in Vancouver.  So we took a stroll down Stanley Park, the infamous nature park smacked right in the middle of the city with a great view of the North Shores and our lovely mountains! 

  It is times like this, I really miss my city.  Truely nowhere else in the world would I be able to see such trees, mountains and the sea at the same time.  And a climate that cannot be beat!

  It was my birthday last week...and for all those who have sent me messages either here or in facebook or by SMS, I thank you for keeping me in your heart......and for all those others....now I know if you we are friends or not!
