• 'The Blood Bond' Experience - Lt. Wuche is born

  We had gone over halfway into the production schedule when suddenly we needed to cast for Lt. Wuche. 
  
  
  
  I remember trying to get on the phones on the computer trying to cast in Hong Kong, China, anywhere as we were about to shoot these scenes. We saw some candidates but they just didn't have what we were looking for in Wuche.  I tried my best to help us find the actor, even while inside I secretly wanted the opportunity. Then one day I got the surprise of a lifetime.  Micheal asked me to come into one of the office rooms and for me to bring a script with.  Next thing, he asks me to read a scene with him. That scene was between Lt. Wuche and the Captain.  It was then when he said (not in the exact words), "I know you're ready to do Toufang, but Wuche does a little more and he has a bit more dialogue and scenes and even gets to do a little action, so which one do you want?"  I had prepared for the 'shooting' of Toufang, the college student.  Going over the lines til I felt good with them...but I didn't even hesitate, "I want Lt.Wuche." 
  
  
  
  Micheal got up, "Okay, go to wardrobe and get fitted for a uniform oh before that come with me..." He took me to the dressing room where I got my hair cut.  Last thing he said to me before he had to go was, "get your lines memorized."  I knew we'd be shooting Wuche's scenes soon, I would be ready to play.

  First day of shooting.
  
  Back in the day, my first movie was Five Days (2000) a story about two brothers that were contracted killers part of an organization.  I played Soda, for the finale warehouse scene we had choreographed a gun fight and fist fight action scene that took over 16 hours and 2 days to complete.  It was the best time ever!  This time the guns get a little bigger!
