I had been juggling teaching Drama English in the schools, doing some freelance editing and videography and making time over at Bey's for my intern when I got the call to take Micheal Biehn to the new then office for a meeting. Of course it was the first time I was going to the new then office location myself and had no clue where exactly it was but I remained calm.
Already I had been thrilled working with Bey helping him in the pre-production process as much as I could and now I would be picking up Michael Biehn! Everyone seemed to know a lot about Micheal's movies, I hadn't seen some of them but I always felt that he was a solid actor and knew he was the guy in many of James Cameron's films. I remembered him mostly from The Rock. As he was the cool guy who I didn't want to see get killed and more recently Planet Terror which I thought must have been like Rock n Roll on a set with Robert Rodriguez!! A director I have always enjoyed since his student film Bedhead - I couldn't resist and told Micheal in the taxi how I thought his Sheriff role in that rocked!

We talked about movies and then he asked whether I'd be going to China with them and I said, "Yes!" Even though I had not told my company regards the teaching schedule and needing a visa to enter China legally. He asked me what I'd be doing inside and I said, "I will help you guys in any way I can!" BUT I was hoping to do some acting as well (" I was actually only thinking about playing the solider in the background but I didn't give specifics ") He shook his head and smiled, "okay, great!" I then proceeded and asked him about where he was from originally and that's when I began to feel the kind of dedication Micheal has put and still puts in his craft. I was stoaked to be working on this film!
It rained that afternoon and there I was trying to find the office location, trying to hold an umbrella (though a little rain didn't bother Micheal) and it was all good. We found Bey and Christine.
