  • Daniel Yoon vs. Daniel Yoon

    My filmmaker friend Daniel Yoon just moved to Los Angeles and we hung out over the weekend. Coincidentally, another Daniel Yoon in Delaware just stabbed two women and claimed to be "a diabolical killer" in the same week.

    I saw Daniel's debut movie Post Concussion before it was sent to any festival and I thought the film was totally hilarious and brilliant, without considering the fact that he directed, shot, produced and acted in it all the same time!

    I am just happy to be reconnected with such a creative filmmaker and I am looking forward to the next feature he's going to be making.

    Welcome to Los Angeles!

    I actually went to high school with the danny yoon who stabbed the girl.........he was a very nice person , and never bothered anyone. The problem was he never had any friends........he had this huge crush on this girl named elise but she didn't even know he was alive, but at the same time he never tried........he never had fine straight hair like most asian people so he tried to cut it in this stylish way , and ended up giving himself this huge mushroom head haircut..........so everyone knew him as the asian guy with the weird hair.  I guess most of his life he's just use to being alone and never being accepted by anyone :(  i can't believe he did that though , it's not like him..........something bad must of happened to him recently, i mean his mug shot looks like hell he use to be more attractive than that :(  poor danny

    oh, i heard about the other daniel yoon.  really sucks what he did.  =(

    like most things in life, there is a seinfeld episode about this very subject...

    I just had a look at the film via your link, it's got some nice notes on it, it sounds sweet and funny. I have great respect for Daniel, doing the hard work all himself, I like to see hardworking film-makers have their work pay off.
