• A Portrait for Andrew 連凱

  Everytime when I draw a headshot, I will consider the face expression or feeling that gives out from the drawing. It base on either I know that person very well or they first impression that person gave me.

  Last saturday I finally meet with Andrew in person and we chat about painting alot. He is so passionate on art(as you can see those drawings in his blog) which really out of my expectation ^_^

  

  And I think maybe he is an artist that he will fully express his innermost feeling from his artwork(not like me, I always blah blah blah, wakakaka~) but not by speech. So I draw him with some complicated expression in my drawing.

  The funny thing is, while I was drawing Andrew, I suddenly think of a taiwan movie "A City Of Sadness"(悲情城市), so, I add a wooden background(but don't ask me what's the relationship between wood and that movie, I really don't know myself too =P).

  The result turns out more complicated. I guess maybe if anyone who wants to know more about Andrew, you should see about his works.

  Thank you Andrew for letting me draw for him. He is a good model I must say, good outlines and shape on his face ^_^
