Music is my life, creating it is my passion. My band O.A.R. has given me both.

My mother was born in the Philippines but is Chinese. My father was born in Jacksonville, FL but is Chinese. Between the two of them, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, and Toi San were spoken. I spoke EngCantoMandoTagaToisanese when I was little, a convenient combination of all five. At least it made sense to me.

For 7 years dai-lo and I took piano lessons from my aunt. We discovered Led Zeppelin and quit that shit. He taught me guitar in middle school and I joined a band. Never in a bazillion years did I think I'd be playing in the same band with the same guys 17yrs later. Lucky would be an understatement.
