i used to have this too when I was a little girl!! his companion was a blue one. i named them john-john and chirpy, till these days when i see these birds in the shop, i still call (all) of them john-john, chirpy! heehee

i could handle them eating it but just looking at it...oh god it was horrible...i could sit there and watch people eat worms, maggots, snails and stuff like that all day but not the balut...it was sickening...the poor chicken...

hehe... The worst challenge I've seen in fear factor was the eating of different kinds of worms. I couldn't handle watching it. I changed the channel. the "balut" challenge, I was laughing at them the time I saw that,hehe... ;)

your aunty has the right idea...it IS gross...just thinking about it makes me sick...those poor chickens...and i saw that episode of Fear Factor and i almost threw up...just like this episode of Survivor when they were with the Masai in Africa and one of the people stabbed a cow and all this blood came out and they put it in a glass with milk...oh god it was one of the worst things i have ever seen...and on this travel show...this guy at a cobra heart and it was still moving...YUCK!!!!!

I didn't say you eat it also,hehe... I eat that because my mom and dad eat that and It's like normal to us. maybe if my parents don't eat "balut", I may not eat that as well,hehe... My aunt don't eat that coz she thinks it's gross...

yuck yuck you eat chicken embryos...eww that is so disgusting...i think i m going to be sick now...that is horrible...why can't you just eat the egg why do you have to eat the chicken too?...that is really disgusting...yuck...you could have left it at the fact you had it over there...you didn't have to tell me you actually ATE it!!!!! and you think the blood sausage is insane!!!! at least it's not a BABY CHICKEN!!!!! Kuru thats horrible!!! i'm sorry but YUCK!!!!! i don't think i'll be eating anything for a long time now you turned me off food...especially eggs...

Yeah, It's here in the Philippines,hehe... That was featured in fear factor before,hehe... I eat tha. We call it here "balut". It's delicious,hehehe... It's rich in protein,hehe...

I love ugly betty coz it's funny. I hope they'll air the 2nd season soon..

he he...i can look at internal organs all day but there is no way i can eat them...makes me want to be sick...blood pudding he he...it's one reason i'm glad i'm NOT English...it's a sausage made with animal blood...and it looks horrible...

i heard about this delicacy and if i remember correctly its from the Philippines and its an egg with a chicken embryo in it...am i right? it seems pretty festy...just thinking about it makes me want to be sick...

he he Ugly Betty is cool...i'm waiting for the second season to come on here...but i missed the last ep of season 1...

yuck! I hate internal organs! I don't eat it... What is blood pudding? Is it made up of BLOOD! arg, we have here a dish which has blood on it and I don't eat it. even taste it... Hey, I've heard in "UGly Betty"(comedy tv series from USA) about rhubarb,hehe...

liver...yuck i would never eat that or kidneys or haggis (which is sheep's stomach stuffed with vegetables and stuff) or blood pudding...eww...you don't even want to know what that is...i'm a fussy eater...he he...but it doesn't matter that much because i don't eat a lot anyway...i only eat if i'm hungry...and that's not often...i can go a whole day without eating anything and it not bother me...he he...but i usually have at least one meal...

well its a red vegetable...basically think of red celery...but it tastes a lot different though...it has big bushy leaves which are poisonous (so you eat the red bits) you can stew it and have it with ice-cream and you can put it into pies...it's really nice...
