Last night I had the chance to perform with 黄大炜 (David Wong) @ Brown Sugar. Man!! What a great night. This guy is a true professional and a joy to work with.
He opened the night by singing some jazzy/lounge kind of tunes, all in english which really had a lot of the Chinese fans not sure what to expect next. Next set, he blew them away with the songs that made him famous. 让每个人都心碎 and 你把我灌醉 plus others. He also had a couple of special guests. One of whom is a good friend and a fantastic singer. Her name is Erica Lee. Everyone should keep their eyes and ears open for her name. She will do big things in the future....

Brown Sugar is going well. Sad to see Meachie and Indya go but Mandy Gaines is in town and sounding great!!
During Chinese New Year things were a little quiet at the club but we had some good nights too. We had an OPEN BAR for three days 6-9pm and that was cool!!!
Anyhow, still feels good there and looking forward to the coming weeks.

So I'm back and it feels great!! Brown Sugar is really cool and the gig is going well. It's a hard gig in some ways but very enjoyable. How can I not enjoy playing Prince's "Purple Rain" haha!! What a great song!!
But the vibe here in Shanghai is just so cool... It's great to see old friends again and make new ones. And the food!!! Hot pot, dumplings, on the street or in a restaurant... it's all good!!!!
Don't forget to come to Brown Sugar and say hi!!! Shanghai, Xin Tian Di!!

Well last night was my first night at Brown Sugar (Shanghai). WOW!! What a venue!! This place is fantastic!! Great vibe, great design and good sound...
We're performing more pop and R&B covers than jazz but it's fun. It's a real show and the audience love it!! Last night was really busy!! So many beautiful girls there!! My God! I think there were some guys there but I didn't really notice!!! ha ha!
Anyhow, if you're in Shanghai, you have to come check out this place. XinTianDI- Brown Sugar!!
