The last couple of weeks have been pretty interesting.
I went out one night to a club in LQF called Volar. Boy was I buzzed. Some guy threw up all over the bathroom with pieces of vomit landing on my jeans and shoes. GROSS. I vaguely remember running to Kevin and Glen from Hardpack. I told them so many times "I love you".
I still do.
I've been usy getting ready for dad's show coming up in a few weeks. I'm either at singing lessons or the gym every other day. I've been helping the prodcution team with some minor stuff regarding the show. Anwyays, it's gonna rock and be different from the past shows. I'm also still workin' on Ryan's mv. It'll come soon.
I got to chill in Dad's office while he jammed, preparing for the upcoming concert.
The masters at work. From left to Right: Band leader small Al, dad, special guest: Harlem, Uncle Ricky, and Siu (in charge of the look and feel of the concert).
I'm tryin' to get in a group shot.
I miss thanksgiving already. Luckily I froze most of the leftovers and I'm still eating the food from time to time. The best part?
STUFFING~!
Speaking of food. I've been on a craze trying to make the perfect poached eggs. The first time didn't turn out so bad. I thought I screwed up when I saw this:
After taking the eggs out I got this:
Yummy...The eggs came out alright. The latest attempt I tried was putting raw eggs into cling wrap bags and then boiling them. It really does work!! hmmmm. I wanna cook these right now.
I was helping mom clean out some ancient stuff from our attic. I stumbled upon a toy I used to love so much. It's from the cartoons Thundercats:
Yea! The Thundercats sword. Too bad it's missing the bottom part. You insert batteries and the symbol lights up.
Your suppose to hold up the sword and say "Thunder, thunder, Thundercats! HOooOOOOo" and it'd grow. Oh well.
I also came across this bronze shoe, which mom told me I actually used to wear. She had it bronzed and well, it's still here!
And now for more random phone pics:
The other day I took a car for service and one of the workers built this sucker uisng a gardening cart with a motorcycle engine:
Too bad you can't ride it. You see, you hold the handle and just drag heavy junk around. I could sure use one of these if I ever move house.
I went to a thai restaurant with the family the other night. As usual, dad loves ordering all types of dishes, so we ended up with:
It was all really good! Scary part? There were only 5 of us. Now you know why I can't stop eating. The sugarcane shrimp and the curry shrimp in the middle were really good.
After all the good food we ended up at Disney:
It's Christmas time!!
The fireworks:
I'm suprised I got a descent shot from my phone.
Back home Mario is getting some joggin' done:
This pic is a little blurry. That's because Mario was in motion trying to learn how to play on the wii fit board i just got.
It's a pretty snazzy gadget to keep you in shape. Here's a vid:
harlem gonna sing in cantonese as well?? hoo.. been real long since last saw your Uncle Ricky.. looking good... thanks! for shaing the pics. and that thundercat sword.. cool!... miss them.
remember to put a couple ounces of vinegar into the water before you poach the eggs. I can see that you've not - the protein from the eggs can't coagulate in water, but with vinegar it can. also I've figure out - probably through 100 eggs now - that you've got wait till the convection currents in the water to calm before you dunk your egg cups into the water-vinegar mixture. I'll teach you sometime or just read the posts on the google. I'll call you soon.
