Sean first realised his passion for photography and film when he discovered the unused darkrooms at his school, Eton College, when he was 14, and has been a shutterbug ever since.
After graduating with a Masters in political science, he began his career in films at Columbia Pictures International before moving into magazines as a features editor and photographer, later culminating in his role as Director of Editorial and Photography for Asia Tatler. In his years as an editor and photographer, Sean interviewed and photographed some of most famous personalities in HK and the world including Marc Jacobs, Eva Herzigova and Leonardo Di Caprio. He also travelled extensively from the steppes of the Mongolian plains to the red carpets of Cannes.
Sean's work has appeared regularly in Asia Tatler as well as the International Herald Tribune, SCMP, Prestige, Modern Weekly, Ming Pao Weekly to name just a few. He has also worked with clients including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce Gabanna, Van Cleef & Arpels, Lancome, L'Oreal, Cartier and Harvey Nichols.
Sean left the magazine world this year to develop his art photography portfolio as well as TV and film concepts. He is currently directing and producing his first documentary film for National Geographic Channel to be aired in December 2010. He is also founder and director of Activis Media Group that offers premium production and creative services in Hong Kong and London.
Sean has always been active in charity and has a special interest in environmental sustainability. In 2010, he started the non-profit organisation Project C:CHANGE in 2010, an environmental initiative to raise funding and awareness about different environmental issues every year.
