Started writing this yesterday, but never finished.

I'm knackered. I've just had a non-stop few days, so it's good to finally get a break. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to catch up on all my feeds. Gave up after three pages but I will try to catch up another time. Too tired to read the rest right now.
The Library has been going through a remuneration framework change. I didn't think this would affect me, since I'm finishing up pretty soon, but was told last week that I'd be receiving my letter soon and that the reason mine was later than the others was because I'm a contracter. I was like "oh." I had no idea I was a part of it and was so worried about the result.
This morning, when my boss asked to see me for five minutes, I was a little paranoid that I'd done something wrong. Everytime she calls me in for something, I think I've done something wrong, and she just tells me how great I've done in such and such, but still everytime she calls me in, I panic for a few minutes til she tells me what she called me in for.
Anyways, it was good news. With the new remuneration framework, I got a raise! If I agree to it, and sign it and everything, it's effective from 01 July 2008. Does that mean I get back-paid? Whatever. There's no way I'm not signing it, a raise is a raise!

Now, back to the present. I caught up on all my feeds, but only did a skim through.
I did a bit of a panic at dinner on Tuesday night. My dad asked me when a friend of a friend was arriving in town (not staying with us, so not important, just curious) and I was like "November". They all just kinda paused and looked at me, and it took me two whole seconds to realise that we were already over halfway through November. Then, I was trying to remember what date my friend mentioned, but I could only think "20th" which it can't have been, cos I'm pretty sure my friend would have told me if that person had already arrived. But then again, she wasn't required to so maybe not. So I emailed her and found out that this person's arriving tomorrow night after a 65 hour journey. What a journey!
Anyways, it's frickin' November! I think I'm gonna start panicking soon. I've still got one more elective to go on my course and I've still got my flights to book and I haven't even begun to think about what stuff to organise! And I've still got to start applying for jobs! I do plan on doing some online applications before I go, but I want to wait until after I've finished my course. I've still got a month before my 100-day deadline for the job guarantee is up, but I was hoping I'd have knuckled down and finished it by now. Looks like I'm gonna have to force myself to get up early for it on Saturday.
And I've still got to organise the music for the wedding! I've been given some good suggestions, and I've thought about a few good stuff for the pre-dancing part. I'm hoping I can keep myself from putting too much of my favourite artists in there, cos I don't think the guests would be too happy with too much Westlife or Leehom.
Right, better go now, hope you all enjoy the rest of your week!
