One more month!

One month to go!

My friend's getting married in a month! I'm soooo excited. I've decided to wait til my Christmas holidays before I start properly getting the music together. I'm gonna be in such a panic once I finally finish work. Did I mention I was officially finishing up on the 9th? And the wedding's on the 17th (one month to go!) so I have a week to make last minute rushed decisions on the music if I haven't sorted it by then. But I have a few ideas in mind. Don't worry Evonne, I've got it sorted!

This morning I realised I only have two working weeks left here at the National Library. One week before Christmas, and one week after. I gotta start cleaning up!

I decided ages ago that I would spend next week going hard out at cleaning up and getting everything sorted so that the desk would be ready for the new admin. I'm gonna treat it as if I'm completely finishing before Christmas, so I'm only a trainer when the new person arrives and the desk is all hers and she does all the work, I just show her how to do it. Better than doing it for her and just letting her watch, right?

Hmm, I think I really have to start organising my flights over to HK now. Originally I'd planned on going to the Sunshine Coast in Australia for about a week with the mother of the friends I'm visiting, but she's decided to go in April, cos lil miss grand daughter's birthday's in April. Which means I'm going over on my own.

Oh, and I finally finished my course! I knuckled down on Saturday and took the exam (after doing the small bits and bobs necessary to finish before I was allowed to take the exam). Only got 88% (I did the Teaching English to Adults elective on Saturday, I finished the Teaching English to Children one a while back with 93%), so was a little disappointed, but glad to have passed first time. I would have panicked if I'd failed and had to take it again. You need 80% to pass, and there were 50 questions which meant I was four questions away from failing.

Anyhoo, at least I've got that out of the way. Soon I'll have my current job done and dusted, then there's the wedding, then I'll really be freaking out.
