Yep, I like our long distance train system. They can make between 250 or 300 km/h top speed, but depends on the route and the train.
The trains have all power supply for your laptop - if you have one...On some tracks you can even try to surf via wlan.

Heroes is fun but I'm used to watching it all at once on-line. I don't know if I'd remember everyone and everything from week to week.

Wow. 1000 kilometers in 8 hours. That's about 620 miles. That's fast and you didn't have to drive --- sit and read. Nice. We have no trains to speak of in this country. We totally dismantled our mass transportation system in favor of the automobile.
