yep, yep, yesterday was the first day at work after three weeks off over Christmas. It was a good decision to take three weeks off, because it offered me the opportunity to relax (ehm, spend my time on AnD
) and reload the batteries. But the disadvantage is, that it may take some days until I'm back on my working schedule...
The night I slept pretty well and got up at time - a bit tired though. Luckily the school holidays are not over yet so I did not have to take of the schoolkids which prefer to walk on the bikelane...
I was at the train station a bit too early, but better than late, right?
I was in the office at time, picked my choco donuts from a woman selling them from a bus close to the train station. Luckily I remembered my password for my computer - i was really bothered about that.
As I expected I found a bunch of newspapers at my desk which I have to read and cut out the important things for my archive. My Mailbox did not look much better
. But I found some greetingscards from friends which arrived after I went off for holidays - this was really nice
. And our assistant gave me this
- a friend sent this to me...
So I spent most parts of the morning reading and sorting my emails. In the afternoon I joined to colleagues visiting a potential development site because I know the town very well. Which was really nice because the weather was nice and the town is a beautifull place on earth...
These pics I took on the way back:
(This is what you see when you approach Frankfurt from the west by car - I think I still have to work on my snapshot technique)
(This is a hotel close to our office. The rooms at the round ends of the slice offer an amazing view whether to the hills in the west or the skyline in the east!)
I spen two more hours in the office sorting my stuff, writing some mails until it was time to leave to Taichi class. More people came than ever before and we had a lot of fun though a movement in the 42 made us a lot of trouble
but we got in the end - I hope. We also learned the wi shi -breathing (I don't know if I spell it right) which was recommend from our chefcoach to learn. You need it when you want to join his sunday morning classes. It's a special breath technique (a kind of contra-breathing) which offers a good massage to the inner organs...
So I was home at 11 p.m. and fell into bed at 11:30
.
Though I miss my friends on AnD which company I enjoyed during the holidays it was fun to be back at work and see my colleagues
.
Somehow I feel like in a rollercoaster - my life changed so incredibely fast in the last year - can someone please wake me up from this dream ??!!!???!!!
