Hitman (No. 47)

Today I honoured the local cinema with my appearance (it didn't change for more than 15 years - so it was a good feeling) to watch Hitman with Timothy Olyphant. I watched it in a small room with 40 seats - a very homy feeling - one of my favourite rooms in this cinema because you are very close to the screen.

This is a definitely a awesome action movie with a good plot (oh, we know some action movies lack at this point but not this one). The start is a bit like Dark Angel - is there any link between the computer game, this movie is based on, and Dark Angel? The rest is a opulent action movie with an very intense Timothy Olyphant, merciless fights at uncommon places, a lot of plumb in the air and a lot of blood sputtering around (though never crossing the border of good taste/dignity) spiced with wonderfull sets (mostly filmed in Sofia, if I recall right), a good dry/black humour and oh, yes a hot russian chick for the guys (but Timothy Olyphant is also something for the girls ). And sponsored by Audi .

The film reminded me of the movies of Luc Besson and yeah the production company is the same as Unleashed with Jet Li, produced by him.

 A little Note at the end: The rating 18 and older is definitely justified!
