13個評論Sorry, for this late blog about my walk last sunday, but I did not feel like blogging during the week.
Ok, last sunday I decided to go for a walk again in order to clear my mind a bit and get a good workout. This time I decided to go more uphill...
This hill looks really inviting, but is too far away...
So I decided to explore this hill again but instead of going north I decided to go more west and make it to the highway somewhere between the hills...(In the front you can see the construction site for the road I told about last time)
And I decided to take this way uphill through the cherry trees and even a low fence does not keep me away from following the direction I wanted to.
But I did not make to the highway because I saw this abandoned depot of the us army...
and I saw this interesting graffity on the ruins. So I decided to find a way in which wasn't difficult because the main entrance was wide open. Actually there wasn't any kind of entrance doors anymore...
So I decided to step in and look around (you'll find the pics in my graffity album). This site must have been abandoned for quite a long time because the ceiling of one building looked like this...
After taking a lot of pics at this ruin I planned to explore the rest of the former depot but suddenly I heard "tak, tak, tak, tak" and shortly after "tak, tak tak" again. Damn, I though, what the hell is going on here???? But it did not sound like real machine guns, but more like the weapons of paintballers...yup and I was right:
can you see the guy in the black fighting suit beneath the building?Hmm, I thought, this is pretty far away, let's have a look at another building close to me. But while I was taking some pics there I could hear the voices of another group of paintballers talking behind the wall and I also saw one, but he did not see me
. Nevertheless I decided it was time for retraction - but I will come back!! The guys did not place any kind of warning at the fence, though....
As you can see, the guys looked really professional:
(can you see him, eh?)After this occurence I decided it was time to turn east and go home, though I had to go north for some time because the wilderness around this area made it a bit difficult to find a path downhill.
But I finally I found one and enjoy the view to my hometown:
(I had some difficulties to get around the construction site again, but finally made my way home)
