After I went to Frankfurt early this morning in order to help a friend to get his belongings loaded into a van because he moves to another city - which was done within 45 mins because we had a lot of help -I went directly to the computer shop where I ordered my new Laptop because the installation of XP was done. And afterwards I went directly to the mobile shop where I picked up my new smartphone.

Here they are:

(Brand new Asus-Laptop and a Nokia E61i)

Now I hopefully have freedom to work on the computer again because my eight-year-old HP-laptop was a bit overstrained recently by new software and chatting tools...and the new mobile is just great! I can surf in the internet with w-Lan, listen to my music on the fly and the small display is amazingly sharp .And I hope that it will help me to get my big collection of business cards organized...

Oh not to forget to mention, the roundtable yesterday evening went fine not to talk about some minor technical problems . I will blog about it later on.

laptop is very useful thing,

I'm using my first laptop from 6 months, old PC have 8 years, hehe, 8 years for PC - laptop, is like 80 years for human, hehehe

I don't want you worry, but when I searched laptop I heared that Asus laptops have many repairs, hope your will be good

Can you write something about technical parameters: Hard disk, processor, graphic card, RAM ?

ooh Nice technology, really nice. I really need to get a laptop, then I can be productive on the train rather than staring out the window.

Glad to hear the roundtable event went nearly perfect!, l look foward to reading more :)

Nancy, here it is no prob - but I also have a headset...
no, I did not get such an insurance - it's not very common here. We have a general warranty for 2 years...

In Singapore we refrain from using new handphones on public transport for fear that we will be tailed by robbers. Have you gotten insurance for the laptop against spillage and damage? It is offered by the vendor here.
