the birth of a skyscraper

In Frankfurt the construction for the first  high rise building after a couple of years started this summer. It's called the Opernturm because it's located in prime location close to the "Alte Oper" a famous concert hall and tourist spot in Frankfurt. Here you can find more about the project and also a webcam, which shows the construction progress. The building should165 m high in total and therefore will be a spectacular addition to the skyline of "Mainhattan" because it's design is more classic "New York" high rise style.
