    whoeva ya are....

That is the only lyric in this entire song but somehow it seems to work.
    Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARbLMwIlAYU

This whole thing started because I had this dream where I was walking down some deserted streets, walking non stop for days. When I started looking at the ground I could see white cement with small cracks everywhere, but the problem was that the cracks were moving like snakes. If I looked closer at the cracks they would get bigger. Suddenly I had to jump across these insane moving cracks. I jumped and when I hit the ground I stopped and looked up. I was still on the street but it was surround by a thick jungle. As I looked around I could see the streets were like a grid of endless streets and all the square blocks were filled with the same jungle. I went over to the jungle and when I tried to look inside I could hear voices whispering but there was no way to get closer because the jungle was way too thick, so I left and kept walking. I looked up at the sky and I saw the sun was always straight up, but it was starting to get bigger and blazing hot. Sweat was stinging my eyes and the sun was starting to burn my skin. I had  to find a way out. Suddenly I started to hear the voices again. It said, "Bitch to your mother, whoever you are" but it sounded more like "Bitch to ya mutha, whoeva ya are" and it kept repeating over and over. It was getting louder and louder, and I was starting to hear this tribal beat behind it, until I was suddenly awake and saying it myself, "Bitch to ya mutha, whoeva ya are."

After I realized what was going on, I started cracking up. It was hilarious. I really like certain kinds of rap, but I have never been a rapper and never thought I would attempt anything like it myself, and what the hell did those words mean? I was saying it but it didn't have any meaning I could figure out, or maybe that was the point. It didn't have to mean anything. Later on I went to my friends place,  and while I was there I started randomly rapping "Bitch ta ya mutha, whoeva ya are". We had to laugh at how stupid it sounded, but then we suddenly decided to put it to music just for the hell of it. We went over to my place and started throwing whatever beats and music down, and just started speaking, yelling, and whispering into the microphone. We had no idea what we were trying to do but we just kept going. After we recorded vocals, guitars and keys for a few hours, I spent some time on my own arranging the audio, adding a few more parts, tweaking it, producing and mixing it down. When the song was finished, my friend, who also happened to be a music video director, decided to do a quick video for it. When he finished the video he entered it in the Canadian Indie Music Video Festival and it was picked for 4th place. All we wanted from the very beginning was to have fun with it and that was all that mattered.

Interesting story, rockin beat, fun vid AND 4th place? You should consider doing more work based on dreams.
