My dear director, Yee Wei was good enough to edit all my scenes together from the movie we worked on together.

I wanna thank him so much for including me in his film eventhough my Mandarin was bad. We both came up with why my character would speak in English. It wasn't far fetched.....it's Singapore in the 90s :)

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

Tropfest is of course the biggest short film festival in the world and this year marked the first ever Tropfest for South East Asia and I am so proud it was held in Penang, Malaysia. It was an amazing weekend of insights from experienced and award winning directors during Roughcut and some talented new filmmakers got to show their stuff at the festival itself held at the Esplanade.

First pic is of Adam Elliot who won an Oscar for best animation for Harvie Krumpet.

Trained as a lawyer, Sue found her calling in areas beyond those of a legal eagle. Upon graduation, she joined a celebrity management company where she spent time managing and organising local screen and stage celebrities’ schedules and contract negotiations, before being “spotted” and cast in the pilot of a local sitcom. Since then, she has gone on to act in several local TV dramas, serials, plays and movies, both in Malaysia and Singapore; hosted a Malaysian docu-drama and scripted Kopitiam-sitcom (Msia), All Mixed Up-sitcom (Msia), Yang Sisters2-sitcom (Singapore).

Sue was also an announcer with LightFM station which is part of ASTRO, Malaysia's leading cross-media operator specialising in the creation, aggregation and distribution of content across multiple platforms. At Light& Easy, she also wrote promo segments for the programme, as well interviewed local and international celebrities on air. Sue is also often in demand as an Emcee on the local events circuit, and her client list includes Ford Malaysia, SK-II and Starbucks.
In 2003, Sue was nominated for Best Actress for the movie Lang Buana at the Malaysian Film Festival.
