this was my first ever acting gig in Singapore back in 2001. I remember feeling a little nervous cos I was going to be joining the cast of an already long running drama series.....Growing Up was going into their 6th season.
But I was well received by the cast and I will always be grateful for that experience. it was great to act with some really good actors who made it a joy to go on set every day....namely Lim Kay Tong, Andrew Seow, Amy Cheng, Marcus Mok, Tracy Tan and David Tan.
This is the cast and crew in studio 4 (i think) at mediacorp studios, singapore. the set up is a coffeeshop which I run with my family.
ok so the marcus who is far left played my husband. tracy who is draped across that marble table :), plyed my daughter and the boy in the middle played my son. john choi (in the cap) was one of the directors.
if you look closely, you will see that huge mole on under my right eye. the story - i was given away by my parents when i was just a baby because a fortune teller told them that mole will bring bad luck to the whole family! Sticking that mole onto my face was no fun for almost 3 months. in the end, it really botched up my skin around the eye. oh well....gotta do what we gotta do right? :)
