  review: *spoiler* i urged to go watch the movie when i found ken is in the trailer, weeks before showing. ken is fun for he brings the 'maturity' of toys up at least a couple notches. you have to be an adult to understand ken's quirkiness, which makes his intro genius. before i go to voice actors, lets focus on the script, the masterminds that made animation into magic. i think the principle is clear: in toy story, toys come to life when nobody is watching, they do goofy things, thats entertaining; but they also have feelings, and think for themselves, thus they have potential to make decisions that conflict their owners. and this is exactly what happened in this episode. woody, being protagonist, remain loyal to owner andy throughout the story, kids love woody for that. afterall, many children out there have no idea what or no intention to share, possession of toys and parents attention is more important than anything. but even toys dont stay loyal for no reason, woody believes andy would love him back, that they could play together again, some day. this brings out another point, the inevitable outcome for toys, furnace. the scene when toys face doom was pretty intense, way beyond kids to handle. they made it this way so that kids think twice before throwing toys away. so what can they do with unwanted toys? give them away. where to? day care, or even better, another individual. cos kids are more likely to cherish toys of their own. this is why the last bit of movie touches your heart, u can almost feel for the toys at the final character intro. some how u miss them already, only with an itsy bit of imagination.

  grand job on character development, u can easily see buzz, huggy bear, ken & barbie etc having spin offs. also, great voice acting job, particularly enjoyed allen, keaton, rickles, and beatty's work. toy story 3 has broken so many box office records, ie. first day, week, season, series etc, i guess none the other existing animation franchise can supersede, unless they release toy story 4, which i dread to see, for 3 as a finale is perfect, u can see creators' strong intentions to put the toys to a rest, or at least, an end of an era. pixar production team is wizards of summer 2010.
