• The international Go skateboarding day is celebrated every year on the first day of summer, 21st June. This year, due to the weather, we postponed our Hong Kong Go skateboarding day a week later to Saturday, 28th June, at our newest skatepark at the Hong Kong Velodrome in Tseung Kwan O.

  
  

  For those living on Hong Kong Island, we will meet at the Morrison Hill road playground at 11:00 am – there will be a Race track contest there, with free food & bus transport to Tseung Kwan O skatepark at 12:30.

  
  

  At TKO skatepark, we have some skate games with prizes & all are welcome to join
  1:30 – Ollie or Dice
  2:00 – Game of S.K.A.T.E.
  3:00 – Higest Ollie
  4:00 – Best Line
  5:00 – Straight Eight
  5:30 – Best Trick on the Euro Gap
  6:00 – Best Trick on the Handrail

  Hong Kong Board Rescue

  In addition to the skate games, this year, we are delighted to welcome HK Board rescue,

  
  

  “Please bring along any of your old product to donate to HK Board Rescue, they get boards to kids who don’t have access to skateboarding.
  This is a way of extending the positive impact of skateboarding to others.
  Now that we have great skateparks that people can access for free in Hong Kong, HK Board Rescue wants to simply help those kids who can’t afford a board to start Rolling.”

  本星期六(6月28日)的香港滑板日於將軍澳滑板場內將設有舊滑板回收收集箱，
  請把你們用舊了的滑板或滑板配件帶到將軍澳滑板場捐贈給HK Board Rescue,
  我們會把滑板維修後轉贈給沒有能力購買滑板的朋友。
  現在我們有康民處管轄的免費極限運動場，但仍有人因各種原因而不能擁有自己的滑
  板，
  希望這一個小小的動作能帶給其他人玩滑板並非做壞事的訊息並能給他們玩滑板的機
  會。
