I thought I had to wait till 18th, next Tuesday.. but.. it's here! it's here! it's here! my ipod is here!!
i'm in the office, writing this entry at lunch coz my grandma told me this morning that a package arrived yesterday. Its the holy white box with the apple logo on it! I brought it to work, and opened the box, with my teammates watching.. hahahahahhaha... its finally here! My white silver ipod classic..
So.. there will be change.. i'll be downloading a lot more songs into my ipod.. taking it to work, and playing any kind of music any time i want (dude.. 80Gb is like.. endless music..)
And also.. i'm thinking of updating my xanga theme.. it's been this way for a while now.. hehehehh.. watch out for the new yanniland!
Last night I went to Angie's place for a meeting about the premiere and promotions of "This Darling Life". There'll be a website coming, and I'll also be opening accounts everywhere (here, myspace, facebook, alivenotdead, etc etc). Maybe I'll also blog about it.. :D
Sad news is, one of the interviewees, Ms. Sally Nichols, passed away last Sunday. It really got to me, because I liked her character and life attitude, and I knew so much about her when editing her parts and watching her interview clips. I had wanted to meet her, someday during the premiere of the film, and tell her that even though she doesn't know I exist, I know her story well, and being someone who help her convey that story in a film is a great job. Sadly, I won't be able to see her, ever.
Another sad thing is Sophia will have her grandfather's funeral tomorrow. I'm taking half day off to help her out at the funeral. It's all I can do.
Its these moments when words are just.. words. When she told me the news last month, I didn't know what to say. I suppose that's what everybody else's reaction would be too. Life is so fragile. So weak. It's like a light of fire on a matchstick. You tick it, it burns, and in a few moments, the fire vanishes.
That's life.. Life goes on.
(Hmm, this is sounding like Angie's film "This Darling Life". It really is about life going on..)
(Hmm... I'm such a good marketer.. i promote the film even unconsciously!)
Anyway, life goes, and life comes. Try searching "AIG Baby laugh" on youtube.. there are 3 versions.. one is a baby called Jack, who laughs madly when his mom calls his name in a glass, another one is a baby laughing madly just by tearing up pieces of papers.. aren't babies just so wonderful?
