ok i'm going to try back tracking to all the things i wanted to share. but for now, i start off with some interesting music and music video i was introduce to by my friends. i like both the music and the video art direction. but of course michel gondry is my favorite so far. i still need to find out who did all Justice music videos! very impressive!!!!

Of Montreal [www.ofmontreal.net] Of Montreal is from Athens, Georgia, fronted by Kevin Barnes. lots of ups and down for this american indie band under Elephant 6 Recording. should read them up at Wiki. interesting group. i like this band just like Wiki stated, "...combining musical experimentation and the basic of tenants pop, such as catchy melodies and sing-along choruses.." and also this, "...band style...conventional indie pop and psychedelic music, but also by vaudeville and music hall on their earlier releases and by afrobeat, funk, krautrock and reggae..."

The New Pronographers [www.thenewpornographers.com] A Canadian indie rock group form in 1997, Vancouver, British Columbia. i like this band for it's interesting sound from the use of many instruments. sounds so chill + fun! i like the song myriad harbour in particular cause it's about New York. also this music video is done beautifully! i love the graphic animation! it's done by Fluorescent HIll, a production company from Montreal. should check out the rest of their animation on youtube, username Flohill. fun.
Pandatone [pandatone.pliink.com] this is by far my FAVORITE music out of all i have mentioned here. his real name is Trevor Sias, a guy from Brooklyn. it's a really nice chill music. it has been on my playlist–repeat. really should check out his website tht will have links to more independent/experimental musician sharing music. they are all free to dwonload but you have the choice to make donation.
YOU have to get his album, Happy Together. really really really worth it.
