2個評論it has been a while i didn't post bout music and bands, so here it is, MUSIC FOR THE MONTH!!!!
so, here i present, Tokyo Police Club. my point of view, they sound like The Strokes in their twenties with a mix of Death Cab For Cutie. so many Indie bands coming out recently...like it but they start to get to similar to one another, especially the turning back in time to the hippies, i live free, walk with no shoe, chilling in vintage clothes type style...it's fresh at first...but then too much going on now...anyway, it's just me. hahaha!!!

anyway, as always, enjoy some preview of their music from their first album, A Lesson In Crime. oh, yeah, if anyone haven't heard of The Strokes, please do check them out. i love them!!!! especially Fabrizio Moretti (aka Fab), the drummer!!!!!!!! hahaha!!
but wait, little bit of bio first.
Canadian indie rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Tokyo Police Club formed in 2005 while playing for fun in a basement after the four (vocalist and bassist Dave Monks, guitarist Josh Hook, keyboardist Graham Wright and drummer Greg Alsop) had disbanded from a previous group they had been playing in. The band started to gain attention and played some small shows throughout the Toronto area. With a buzz forming in Montreal Tokyo Police Club was asked to play in the city's Pop Montreal festival, and soon after they signed with Toronto label Paper Bag Records.
Since their formation the band has appeared in numerous festivals. Notably, in 2006 they appeared at Edgefest and the inaugural Osheaga Festival. In 2007, they performed at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California and Lollapalooza.
*my question, i wonder why they choose their band name, Tokyo Police Club...just weird.
