saving the best for last.
past friday, went to my friend-Uni's MFA open studio night at Hunter College (the one on 41st btwn 9-10 Ave).
so proud of my friend's work. i wasn't in my photography mood tht day. so sorry! no photo! :)
but def. will capture some in future.
Uni is a girl with great thoughts in her head. love her.
HIGHLIGHT!
so, went downstairs with my friend to get some fresh air...
then 3 person walked past us in a flash. Uni and her bf immediately recognize him.
we all got so hype, we rush after him and was in the same elevator as him with 2 of his friends.
who?
MICHEL FUKING GONDRY!!!!!!!!!
i still cannot believe it. AAAAAAAAAA!!!!! i'm in the elevator with MICHEL FUKING GONDRY!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! but we kept our cool. my friend's bf just said, "we are all very big fan of yours," and he smile. he absolutely am humble, and does not want any special attention at all. then we get off at the same floor. man it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
no..tht was not it. hahaha!
still hype about the meeting at the elevator, 3 of us went back to the studio and chill. and still cannot believe it. ahhahaha!!!! 30 minutes later, when i finally calm down (a friend called and i chatted for a while...so got distracted :P), i sat on the floor and relax in front of Uni's work. suddenly, someone was standing behind me with a beer on his hand...
MICHEL FUKING GONDRY AGAIN!!!!!
gosh!!!!!!!!! lucky i'm not all crazy and gone blank with words. i chatted with him a little and told him his works are very insipiring. :) he smile. ask if he has any favorite artwork for the night, he replied, "i don't judge," hmm... :)
then i knew he had some question about the artwork, and Uni is very shy because of her language barrier. plus lotsa excitement of course. but pushed Uni next to him and they chatted a little. he smile to me when he left the studio space.

then my tummy was giving me a riot. i had to go...but! again, a lucky mofo tht i am, michel gondry past by, and he was leaving for the night as well. he peeked into Uni's studio space and wave goodbye to us! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! HELL YEA!!!! hahahaah!!!!!
man what a night what a night!!! *smile*

then, i stopped by k-town and grab me-self a kimchi jigae for a comfy dinner at home. watching SVU. hahahahaha! :) still my head goes,
