Endangered Mountain Gorillas

Three baby mountain gorillas and an adult female have died in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park last month, possibly from a combination of extremely cold and rainy weather.

About 680 mountain gorillas remain in the wild, making them one of the world's most endangered great apes. The primates are under threat from poachers, the destruction of their habitat, the live ape trade, disease and fragmentation.

These are one of the most gentle and beautiful creatures in the animal world. It's a shame how we are pushing them off the face of the earth.

If there is one thing that makes me lose my temper it is cruelty to animals, I can't abide it and I get so upset. I remember seeing the film based on Dian Fossey's life, 'Gorilla's in the Mist'. One day I'd like to give up everything to look after animals, they have no voice, I want to be that voice.

Etchy: Animals don't torture other animals for pleasure. They kill only to protect , defend or to feed themselves.

And humans aren't endangered!!!

Just vaguely saw a news on the internet about a man torturing a tiger and then skinning it. Can't bear to read the whole thing..

But what's wrong with us human beings??

Born of Eurasian ancestry, Zoe lived in Hong Kong for 7 years and now reside in Taiwan. Her first modeling job was for the cover of Hong Kong Elle magazine. Approached by the editor of the magazine at a party, she was 16.

Later a talent scout from Derek Yee's movie company found her while she was shopping on the streets of Hong Kong and asked her to try out for an audition. She got the part for the movie. Soon after she visited a friend in Taiwan and was casted in a role as Sammo Hung's daughter in a local Tv series.

Even though being in the entertainment industry had never crossed her mind, things just happen.

Since then Zoe has been numerous tv commercials, print ad, music videos, a tv series and eventually moved to Taiwan 8 years ago. She is currently taking up Product Design at Taipei's 中國文化大學.

Born in a family of architects, Zoe has always had a passion for art and design. She loves to paint and to work with her hands.
