And by ladies, I mean females who are fans/admirers/fanatics of Daniel Wu. ダニエルウーのファンスためにのブログです。

On Thursday night I went to HK island via MTR from my new place. Before I used to always take the bus through the tunnel, but from my new place taking MTR is actually easier for going to certain places. As I was switching trains at Admiralty station I noticed a gigantic face looking at me through the the glass as a train pulled into the station.

I actually let the train go instead of rushing to get on. Just so I could get my camera out and get a good picture:

Oh yes, its a 10' tall Daniel Wu head!　ダニエルの看板ですよ！

Here's a closer shot:

He has been doing ads for L'oreal's 'Man Wash' line for a year I think...

I first noticed an even bigger ad when we went to Shanghai last February:

In the MTR station a little further down from the poster they had a big LCD monitor in the tunnel that was playing commercials. Of course every other one was a L'Oreal Manpert ad..

OK,　except for that brief part in the bathtub, that one wasn't as gay as those Taiwan Biore ads he did a few years back... And not as good as the Megaman Lightbulb ones (click here and go to '2004').

But before you start making fun of him with cat calls of 'You're Worth it!' at public events, it turns out the dialog is pretty much exactly the same as the french and English ads that L'Oreal does with Matthew Fox (click to view)

oo daniel ads!! id scream if i saw them, hopefully they dont take them off by the time i go to hk this winter break..

hahha i laughed when i read that u thought that his taiwan biore ad was gay.. i watched it and thought about it and it does seem to be ..er gay.. lolz..

wow, thanks hehe =) lol geez he's really everywhere. Just read your comment, I remember two years ago I went to HK, and talking about twins, they were everywhere! Even 5 years ago, I bought a Yes! Magazine, (though I can't read chinese, were skimming through pictures) omg, I even got a twins pencil case with it! lol

haha.. I remember when I walked into an MTR station 2 summers ago, I was rewarded with a gigantic ad of Daniel Wu on one of the pillars...

kekeke...was coming by to see what etchy's gotta say but saw that carmellarose's comment is very amusing! yes...this is what celebs have to endure...and that's why u seldom see them walking around freely...if i'm in HK, i'd probably take a pic of myself with Dan's billboard as a background just to show my friends...haha...

How weird is that? That's crazy, if I had huge pictures of me out like that I wouldn't want to go anywhere, I'd creep myself out! lol :)

not everywhere... not like Twins everywhere, but he does do a few ads once in a while (L'Oreal and Seiko right now are the biggest)
