• live streaming from our event in a few minutes...

  if you read this blog within about 3-4 hours of when its posted, try clicking over to admin bear's blog and see if the live streaming is activated.
  
  Dan T is trying a streaming experiment to see if we can broadcast our parties online (for those of you not in HK!)
  
  actually this club is a bit dark, so you won't be able to see much, but it may be fun to try it anyway.

• look who we saw at the airport...

  several of us took last weekend off by taking a short trip to the nearby city of Xiamen, in Fujiian.  a place i've visited many times over the years and we have a lot of good friends.
  
  We took a 1 hour dragon air flight from HK on Saturday afternoon.
  
  At the luggage claim we saw some people crowding around what looked to be some sort of celebrity, but we didn't really pay attention.
  
  When we got out of the arrivals exit we noticed a big group of super fans waiting...   A minute or two after we came out,  the super fans started screaming we could tell who it was they were waiting for:
  
  quite a scrum!    Can you guess who it is?

  woah,  camera's in your face!    See the person in white frame sunglasses?
  
  Let me zoom in a bit for you:
  
  ah,  its Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍),  the remaining member of the Canto-pop Duo 'Twins'. 
  (I saw her at a HK Nokia event in November)
  
  
  I guess they told the fan groups in advance, they were totally out in force.  Xiamen's airport isn't really that big,  so there's no where to run when they know you're coming... 
  
  Its too bad Terence didn't take the same flight as us...  if nothing else it would have made for some tabloid gossip... no one would have believed it was actually a coincidence. :-P
  
  
  Anyway, the Charlene mob moved outside where a big black SUV was waiting for her.  The security was a bit inadequate.... there were fan girls running all around the car snapping pictures through the window, etc.    I was tempted to run up and do the same too...
  
  I waited til later that night... I did get one compromising paparazzi window ambush shot:
  
  Trust me,  he who will remain anonymous is just really tired from a long day at work...

• Kit's B-day at the Club Formerly Known as Club Magazine

  last Friday I stopped by the club formerly known as Club Magazine to see a few friends -  there was a joint birthday party going on for several people, including my pal Kit from 24Herbs.
  
  先週金曜日前のクラブマガジーンに誕生日パーティを参加した。２４味のキト君の誕生日だった。写真を見て下さい。

  normally i don't try to get my mack on at parties like this... but this beauty was too hard to resist:
  
  
  unfortunately i wasn't able to get her phone number.  damn.
  
  (note, there was apparently some sort of theme for the party... but Kevin was the only one i saw in drag... so i'm not exactly sure what it was...)
