Feng Xiaogang's 'The Assembly' to Open Pusan Festival

'The Banquet' director Feng Xiaogang's newest film will be debuting at October's Pusan International Film Festival in South Korea.  The film is titled 'The Assembly' and tells the story of a fallen soldier in the Chinese Civil War between the Communists and Nationalists.   Feng's new picture will not only debut at the film festival, it has been selected as the opening film. The film is a joint production between China's Huayi Brothers and South Korea's MK Pictures.
