The Summer International Film Festival (SIFF) 2012 Programme Presentation took place at Olympian City last Sunday. Festival Ambassador Miriam Yeung greeted the audience in a surprise video, “I am joining forces with Puppet Kid, the SIFF mascot, again this year to celebrate a youthful summer with all of you. Shake off your stress and embrace a summer of movies!”

After presenting the highlights of the SIFF 2012 programme, the cast of hotly anticipated Hong Kong feature DIVA, including Chapman To, Carlos Chan and Bonnie Xian, went on-stage for a lively session about shooting the film. DIVA is having its local premiere at the festival.

The audiences were thrilled as leading actress Joey Yung appeared in a video on the massive TV wall and reflected: “DIVA is not exactly auto-biographical… but unlike other movies I have done, where I have to spend considerable time trying to fathom my character, it allows me to identify with my screen persona readily.”

2010年3月21日(香港) – 第 34 屆香港國際電影節(「電影節」)今天假香港會議展覽中心舉行隆重的開幕儀式。本屆電影節以兩部矚目電影揭開精彩序幕，包括由兩屆香港電影金像獎得主岸西執導的《月滿軒尼詩》世界首映，以及由享譽國際的著名導演羅卓瑤執導的《如夢》。會上，超過九百名中外嘉賓應邀出席活動，場面墟冚，一齊見証該項亞洲電影界盛事之舉行。
