Jackie tries to temper Chinese Audience's Expectations for 'Forbidden Kingdom'

Following Jet Li's lead in his recent blogs on the subject,  Jackie Chan has also been trying to temper the expectations of Chinese audiences about their collaboration 'The Forbidden Kingdom' which just wrapped filming two weeks ago. 

There is much anticipation worldwide to see the first onscreen collaboration between martial arts cinema superstars Jackie and Jet,  particularly in China where both are household names.   

In an interview Jackie recently said in an interview in China that 'Forbidden Kingdom' is a US produced film, and targeted at the US audience and their tastes.  "'The Forbidden Kingdom' is a movie made for Americans. Chinese viewers may not like it."
