Jun 'Sassy Girl' Ji-hyun and 'Last Samurai' Koyuki Team Up On HK Vampire Project

What do you get when you team up one of the biggest female star in Korea with one of the biggest female stars in Japan?  Apparently the answer is: A Hong Kong Vampire Movie!

Koyuki is best known to international audiences for her role in Tom Cruise's 'The Last Samurai', and after a 4 year period of focusing on the Japanese domestic market she has recently signed with Avex's Asian talent group to project her popularity to the international marketplace,  securing a role in John Woo's upcoming blockbuster 'The Battle of Red Cliff'.

Jun Ji-hyun is well known to audiences around Asia for her 2001 mega-hit 'My Sassy Girl' and 2004's 'Windstruck'.

The project is titled 'Vampire: the Last Blood' and is based on a popular Japanese anime 'Blood: The Last Vampire'.  It is to be produced in Hong Kong, directed by Frenchman Chris Nahon, best known for Jet Li's 'Kiss of the Dragon', filmed in South America and China with English dialogue.   Truly an international project if ever there was one.
