12個評論We're rolling out a new feature which we hope will help improve privacy on [alive not dead]. In your Member Settings page there is now an option to change the default privacy setting for your new blog entries and photo albums. By default, "Entries by default viewable by" is set to "Members only" which means that only registered members of [alive not dead] should be able to view your entries, but you can also set this to "Anyone", "Fans and Friends" or "Friends only". As part of this change, we're also modifying all previous entries set to "Viewable by anyone" to a default setting of "Members only". If you wish to modify the settings for your prior entries, you can go to "Manage Blog" and/or "Manage photo albums" and select which entries you want to modify privacy settings for. As always, you can also modify entry privacy on an entry-by-entry basis by selecting "Advanced Settings" when editing the entry.alivenotdead.comO;X ?$V^qB

We hope this new option makes it easier for members to determine their own COMFORTABLE level of privacy whether it's "Friends only" or "Public".

RO"g1Lj$P0As always, however, you should ALWAYS be conscientious of safety when you're using [alive not dead]. Here are some IMPORTANT guidelines that we recommend you follow:
V(_8{C*\Xl9[01. Even if an entry is set to "Friends only", NEVER post anything that you wouldn't want to be seen by others. Don't forget that all entries, irregardless of privacy setting" still display their entry titles. Also, it's very easy for friends to copy-and-paste your "Friends only" content and unknowingly share it with others. Err on the side of DISCRETION if you're wondering whether to post personal content.alivenotdead.comX{1W%n.c/E ] K c
Z:de~G02. Please don't send or accept any friend requests if you aren't comfortable with the other person. Follow this general rule: Would you feel safe enough to meet the other person face-to-face? If you don't feel safe, then DON'T ACCEPT THE FRIEND REQUEST. Also, please note that unlike other social networks, [alive not dead] DISCOURAGES people to send too many meaningless friend requests. Friend collectors (i.e. people who send friend requests to strangers) are considered spammers in our community and will be warned and eventually banned for this kind of inappropriate behavīor.alivenotdead.com(m&a[J4P3i*|
